Rachel Navida is a versatile K–12 educator with extensive experience in curriculum design, classroom instruction, and student support across diverse learning environments. She has taught English Language Arts, Creative Writing, Drama, Business Studies, and Indigenous Studies at both junior and senior high levels. She is recognized for her strong leadership, adaptability, and commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centred classrooms, often excelling in differentiating instruction, supporting individualized learning plans, and integrating both in-person and online teaching platforms.
Her educational journey spans more than two decades, reflecting a deep and sustained commitment to the profession of teaching. Beginning with her Bachelor of Education, followed by a Master of Arts in Education, and a Doctor of Education. She has built a strong academic foundation in Communication Arts and English, demonstrating an early dedication to lifelong learning and educational leadership. After continuing her professional growth internationally, Rachel completed the Bridge to Teaching Program at the University of Calgary in 2012, enabling her to teach across K–12 in Alberta.
