Mr. Benjamin Qiao
Grades 4-6 – Teacher
Benjamin Qiao is a numbers and puzzles-driven educator with a strong foundation in mathematics, science, and student-centred learning. He holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science in General Mathematics from the University of Calgary, as well as a Master of Management from the Haskayne School of Business.
Benjamin has experience teaching Grades 8 and 9 mathematics and science, as well as early childhood classroom instruction. He is committed to fostering key competencies such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and global citizenship through engaging, project-based learning.
In addition to his teaching background, Benjamin brings analytical and organizational strengths from his experience in bookkeeping and financial analysis. A collaborative team player with intermediate proficiency in French and Mandarin, he is passionate about supporting diverse learners and contributing positively to school communities.
