STEAM Summer Camps 2026 – Registration

• If my child shows signs or symptoms of a serious illness, or if a staff member has reason to believe that my child is unwell, I will be notified immediately for an immediate pickup. In the event of a serious injury, authorize the staff at Calgary International Academy to arrange for immediate medical care, including transportation to the nearest hospital via ambulance if necessary. I understand that the summer camp will follow current public health measures and restrictions to ensure the safety of all participants.

• Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled camp are eligible for a partial refund (50%) with administration fees ($50 for half-days and $100 for full-days). Cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled camp are non-refundable.

• Parents/guardians are required to provide up-to-date emergency contact information on Brightwheel as soon as you receive the invitation. In the event of an emergency, the provided contacts will be notified if the primary guardian cannot be reached.

• If your child requires any prescribed medication, we suggest parents administer the medications to your child before/after camp. The camp staff will not administer medication unless deemed necessary. Although the school may provide assistance to parents with medication administration, it reserves the right to reject requests for administering medications when deemed necessary. The school holds final authority on this matter. Parents/guardians must also inform camp staff of any special needs or allergies.

• I grant permission for the camp to take photographs and videos of my child during camp activities, which may be used in promotional materials, on the camp website, or in social media posts. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please notify the camp staff in writing.
