STEAM & AI Leadership Lab (Ages 13-15)

Pre-University Innovation Experience: Designed for campers who are ready for advanced computational thinking and engineering. (They can bring their own laptop; otherwise, they can use camp-provided Chromebooks.)

 

🚀Campers will:

 

  • Study Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems and the corresponding ethics
  • Develop Python-based AI models
  • Explore aerospace engineering fundamentals
  • Build autonomous robotics systems

 

💡Week 8: Pre-University Research Intensive

 

Campers complete a specialization project in:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics & Policy
  • Autonomous Robotics
  • Aerospace Systems
  • Data Science & Prediction
  • Space Sustainability

Each camper produces:

  • A short 5-10 page academic research paper
  • Technical abstract
  • Prototype or simulation using TinkerCAD and a 3D printer
  • 7-10 minutes formal presentation
